There’s a lot of scary news this week about contaminated onions in the national supply chain, and consumers have been advised to toss out onions, even if they come from an allegedly safe source. The good news in this situation is that our veggies all come from well outside the national supply chain – everything listed on our market is grown here in North Georgia by the very farms who are selling you their products. We do have onions on our market this week, and we can assure you they are safe, local, and very, very delicious. As you shop, know that we take your safety as our highest priority, from our handling of the food every step of the way to wearing masks when we deliver to you.
Please remember as you order that per the POA’s instructions, we cannot leave your food unattended. If you need us to deliver to your neighbor or slip your order inside your house, please be sure to tell us in the comments so we can make sure your order gets to you safely!
If you have other suggestion about how we can continue to make deliveries without being able to leave products unattended, we’d love to hear them. We’re still developing the best ways to get your orders to you, and we welcome any of your ideas.
