I (Kyle Woodall) started Chestnut Rise Farm, LLC in 2016 on family land in Ball Ground, GA. Recently in 2019, I was able to leave my job in insurance and pursue the farm full time. Our mission statement is to utilize the available family land in Ball Ground to run a sustainable farming business that preserves and enhances the land while also promoting health and well being of our customers and employees. We grow micro greens year round, seasonal outdoor vegetables and I am a certified mushroom forager and able to bring amazing wild foraged mushrooms to market consistently for most of the year.
